Cotton Candy Trees?

What do you do when your significant other ask, "Hey baby, wanna go junk'n"
Well you jump in the shower and change as fast as you can before he changes his mind. It was a lovely day. The temp was 72 and the sun was shining.
While out I had to make a stop at Hobby Lobby. On the way back out to the van I got a bit confused and thought someone had parked this baby in my space.

It would of been so easy for me to jump in and have Phil take a picture, but I didn't really want to go to jail on such a perfect day.

A close up of my dream machine.

We drove around in the lousy (mommy) van, but we didn't let it spoil our drive. Look at the view we had.

The bradford pears are in full bloom.

Looks like cotton candy in the trees.

I've been doing some spring cleaning around the house. I was able to con Phil into helping me. It took a few promises of beer and .....well more beer, but he finally caved in and was very excited to help. SEE!! Doesn't that look like a face that is willing to give up a lazy day to clean house?

Yep, he is a KEEPER!

Have a happy day

Kris

See if I invite you to go junkin again. Can't believe you are showing the world what I look like in the morning. At least I am happy though,

I think I need some new jammies. Are you sure you love me?

Kris, you guys are hilarious! Yes, I get it - there's no telling how many cases of Miller Lite it has cost me to get some of my projects done around here :) And I LOVE the Habitat project you're doing. I'll have to see if I can get involved in it here in Dallas! Thanks so much! Andrea

Hi Kris,

I love your blog!! I am sad we live so far apart. I think we could be good friends (we still can on line) cuz I love vintage, yard sales, thrift stores, estates sales and truth be known I've even picked stuff off the sidewalk on trash days in my neighborhood!! lol My kids just roll their eyes and just ask what I want picked up. Wheelchair doesn't give me quick access to just jump out and get back in the car. Now my kids do that part. They are so good to me! lol

That hot car would do you know good on a "junkin trip" where would you put all the stuff you bought!!! And that picture of your hubby is hilarious! What a good sport he is....mine would have made me eat the camera lol

What a day! Now did he want to go junkin' before or AFTER you proclaimed it cleaning day? Love the car, too. Still, I'm a big SUV lovin' kinda gal...who only gets to drive 5 months out of the year so I'm NOT wasting gas. (just had to let you know...we are very responsible with our gas consumption only about 50 miles a week...and I still love my SUV!)
